When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for the world famous Street Party, are going to be on sale from 10 am on Tuesday, October 18.

How can I get one?

Tickets for the street party and the Concert in the Gardens can be purchased on the organisers website here.

Tickets for the street party will cost £27.50, although 5000 discounted tickets for EH postcode holders will cost £22.50.

Concert in the Garden tickets will cost around £70.

The main street party will take place from 9 pm on Hogmanay.

This year, festivalgoers will enjoy LED wristbands which will create patterns to coincide with the music played by DJs.

Street food and drinks will be available, and the magic moment at midnight will be marked by ”one of the world's best new year fireworks displays” above the castle.

The Pet Shop Boys will be headlining the Concert in the Gardens this year.

Previous years have seen Primal Scream, The Proclaimers, Biffy Clyro, Simple Minds, Paolo Nutini, the Pet Shop Boys, KT Tunstall and Blondie.

The Night Afore Disco Party with Forth 1 will take place on Friday, December 30 and host Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Altered Images. Tickets for this will cost £32.50.
