My workshops restarted and I looked ahead to weddings and other live events happening, whilst also concentrating on new ventures including an illustrated children’s book set in St Andrews and some new Edinburgh gift card designs.
Here are my personal favourite sketches from the past 12 months. Remember to keep playing the WhereArtI quiz in the Edinburgh Evening News every Monday, and a huge thank you as ever, for your continued support.

5. Meadows Charity Sketch
This sketch of the blossom in the meadows I have used to raise awareness for Kindred Scotland a local charity who support families of children with additional needs, and have helped my family in the past. I continue to sell prints and cards from this image to raise funds for the great work they do. Photo: Edinburgh Sketcher

6. Crossing the Border - London Skyline
In the summer the Sketcher Clan took a road trip to London and this was drawn whilst looking over the Thames. As they take more time than a quick photo my drawings capture memories in so much more detail for me. Photo: Edinburgh Sketcher

7. Lines Around the New Town
It was great this year to be back in town running my sketching walkabout workshops, albeit with limited numbers we were able to meet up, share ideas and capture the streets of Edinburgh. This is one of my scribbles from a tour of the New Town, capturing three streets in one. Photo: Edinburgh Sketcher

8. New Scenes of Edinburgh
This year I designed a new set of cards capturing my favourite views of the city. Unusually for me I have picked certain parts of a scene to highlight and focus on rather than drawing an exact scene. This one is West Bow and the Grassmarket. Photo: Edinburgh Sketcher
