Edinburgh weather: Mild and mostly dry with scattered sunshine

The weather across Edinburgh and the Lothians is set to be cloudy and overcast on Thursday, with the odd sunny spell.

The temperature will peak at around 9C between 3pm and 5pm, and a few showers are possible during the afternoon and early evening.

Friday will be mostly dry and rather cloudy in Edinburgh, but some sunnier breaks developing in places through the afternoon.

Come Saturday, it will remain cloudy, while Sunday and Monday will be fairly bright with some scattered showers.
