Edinburgh University Project Manager walks away with thousands of pounds

An Edinburgh woman walked away with a cool £6,000 on ITV quiz show The Chase earlier this evening.

Katie (31), a project manager at Edinburgh University, told host Bradley Walsh earlier in the show that she would spend the money on a trip to London to see her favourite musical, Six. When she and her two fellow contestants won £18,000, thanks to a question about African country Sierra Leone, Katie then said: “I think I’m going to see a lot of musicals!”

The Edinburgh woman was the star performer in the team of three contestants taking on Chaser Jenny Ryan in the tense final round, answering a lot of questions correctly to help win the money for the trio.
