Edinburgh Zoo will be among a list of venues playing host to a drive-in cinema this summer.

Organisers, @TheDriveIn, have put together an 11 city UK tour to help people enjoy themselves while social-distancing.

When will the cinema come to Edinburgh?

The UK tour will start in July and run on until September.

@TheDriveIn will be coming to Edinburgh from August 13-16, before heading to Glasgow between August 20 and August 23.

What films will be shown at Edinburgh Zoo?

The make-shift cinema is set to show some huge hollywood hits as well as some old favourites.

The full line up of films is:

Grease Back to the Future Toy Story Joker The Lion King A Star is Born

The films will be the finale of an evening of entertainment including bingo, stand-up comedy, family games, and a ‘silent car disco’.
