The initiative, jointly promoted by Midlothian Council, Midlothian Community Safety and Justice Partnership, Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, will run from October 26-31, local Covid lockdown restrictions permitting, with collections being carried out by the Unpaid Work Team.

It will cover Dalkeith and Woodburn on October 26 and 27, Mayfield and Easthouses on October 28 and 29, and Gorebridge on October 30 and 31.
