Golden years for Penicuik couple
Congratulations to Penicuik couple Alan and Nancy Cowan on their 50th wedding anniversary.
Alan (70), a retired parts supervisor at Lothian DAF in Loanhead, and Nancy (69), a retired sales assistant at Greggs in Penicuik, were married on September 26, 1970 at Church of Scotland, Bogwood Road, Mayfield.
They have had an amazing 50 years together and have three daughters - Jacqueline, Lynne and Susan, and four grandchildren Sophie, Jack, Lexie and Harry.
Their plans to celebrate were affected by Covid-19 but the couple still managed to celebrate with just a few friends and family socially distanced.
