Here are pictures that capture what it’s like living in our fair city.
Edinburgh is a beautiful, vibrant and fun city, we all know it, and there are bits and bobs you learn when you live here for long enough. Here are seven pictures that sum up some of the small quirks about living in the Capital.
1. Being handed a festival flyer
All locals are prepped, every August, to keep their head down as we speed walk down the Royal Mile to avoid ending up with 8, 000 flyers when we're just popping to the shops. Photo: Roberto Ricciuti
2. Not your average game of footie
Find a spot at the Meadows on one of the few sunny days we're treated to, and you can see jugglers, frisbee players and all sorts of quirky and interesting hobbies and people - a truly wonderful place to people watch. Photo: SNS Group
3. Chippy sauce
We won't eat chips without it. Photo: Flickr/KathrynMcGrane
