and live on Freeview channel 276
Prison bosses published the menu, which is thought to cost around £2.47 per inmate, in response to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request lodged by the paper.
On Christmas morning prisoners will be greeted with a “continental breakfast”, along with the option of Weetabix, milk and coffee all before they sit down for a festive lunch in the afternoon.

According to the menu, the chicken breast will be served with a mushroom sauce and “kilted sausage”, while the cauliflower will be served in puff pastry with a chickpea and spinach dahl.
Both main course options will come with creamed and roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts & carrots.
For dessert, each inmate will be given an individual Scotch trifle.

All inmates will also be treated to a “snack pack” that includes pot pasta, juice, fruit, Mars Bars, and crisps.
The cost of funding inmates’ Christmas meals is covered by the prison’s annual food budget, according to the SPS.
Prisons and Young Offender Institutes in Scotland can also request additional money for festive meals from its local Common Good Fund.
