On the day First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced the easing of lockdown restrictions, locals basked in the glorious sunshine at spots around Edinburgh.

The Capital has been enjoying a mini heatwave this week, and the sunshine continued on Thursday, with temperatures hitting highs of 23C (73.4F).
As a result, plenty of locals could be seen out and about soaking up the sunshine.
