The Someone You Loved hitmaker has been immortalised as one of the famous Funko Pop! vinyl collectable toy dolls, joining a list of celebrities including Elvis Presley, Shawn Mendes and Pet Shop Boys, among others.

The Whitburn chart sensation shared the news on his Twitter account, joking: "I'm a toy, now you can all play with me!"

The collectable Capaldi figure stands at four inches tall and sees him sporting his trademark sunglasses and holding a rose.

It is available now for pre-order, just in time for Christmas.

Meanwhile, Capaldi’s debut abum, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, is on course to be this year's biggest-seller, more than a year after its release.
