Linlithgow’s Party at the Palace: Manic Street Preachers to headline event next summer

Other big name acts booked to appear at the 2021 festival include Del Amitri, The Snuts, Hue and Cry and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Welsh rock giants Manic Street Preachers will headline Party at the Palace next summer.

The Gwent band are topping the bill on the first night of the two-day festival at Linlithgow Palace, near Edinburgh, on Saturday, August 7, 2021.

Headliners on the second day of the festival (Sunday, August 8, 2021) will be Scottish rockers Del Amitri.

For the first time in many years, Linlithgow was unable to play host to its award-winning music festival in 2020, due to the cornavirus crisis.

However, the event is set to return in 2021, and will once again play host to some of the biggest names in music.

Alongside the Manics and Del Amitri, The Snuts, Hue and Cry, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Kyle Falconer, The Silencers, Callum Beattie and The Brand New Heavies are pencilled in to perform.

The festival will take place on August 7 and 8, 2021.

In addition to two days of great live music, the festival will also feature a fun fair, kids’ entertainment, a market area, a street food scene, and a pamper zone.

Event director Peter Ferguson said: “We were so disappointed that we were not able to get the event on this year however we are determined to come back bigger and better in 2021.”
