Major search underway for teenage girl missing overnight in Lothians

Police are appealing for help to trace a 14-year-old girl who has not been seen since Saturday afternoon

A search is underway for a 14-year-old who has been reported missing in West Lothian.

Tya Miller, 14, was last seen about 3.30pm on Saturday in the Newton area.

Tya is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall. Her hair style is described as long and is fair/blonde in colour.

Inspector Simpson from Livingston Police station said "Tya has been missing for a number of hours now, given her age there is understandable concern for her. We have a number of police resources looking for Tya and I am now looking for the assistance from anyone who may know where she is."
