Midlothian still remembers the fallen despite Covid restrictions
Despite the absence of the annual parade to the King’s Park War Memorial in Dalkeith, there were a number of people in attendance, including many local ex-service people of all generations. Social distancing was well observed.
As Her Majesty the Queen led national commemorations for Remembrance Sunday, her representative in Midlothian, Lord-Lieutenant Lt Col Richard Callander and his team of deputies, laid wreaths on behalf of the Queen at ceremonies across Midlothian.
