The crash, which occured on the Cliftonhall Road in the Newbridge area, involved a white Suzuki car.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place around 8.10pm on Saturday, March 6.

The driver, a 40-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
