Olly Murs heads back to Edinburgh for the 2021 Castle Concerts series

OLLY MURS is set to play Edinburgh Castle for a third time in 2021 having previously sold out the historic venue in 2011 and again in 2017.

Murs is always something really special to look forward to.”

The show will see the singer performing his biggest hits, including tracks from his recent triple platinum album, Never Been Better.

Despite the current pandemic, it has been a busy time for Murs who recently shone in this year’s Soccer Aid, and who is looking to retain his crown as the winning judge on his third series of The Voice, currently postponed at the semi final stages.

great event held against the iconic backdrop of the castle, I am sure it will be again next year.”

Murs released his self-titled debut album in 2010, which went on to sell more 600,000 copies and was followed by In Case You Didn't Know a year later, hitting the No 1 spot. A third album, Right Place Right Time, was released in 2012 and the fourth, Never Been Better, entered the charts at No 1 in 2014. His most recent studio album, 24 Hrs, also entered the UK Albums Chart at No 1.

Tickets for his Edinburgh Castle concert go on sale on Friday 9 October at 9am from www.ticketmaster.co.uk. Please note tickets are not available from Edinburgh Castle box office. The Script will also be play the Castle in 2021, on Friday 16 July - a concert rescheduled earlier this year.
