Shiny Star was last seen on May 24, according to the notice, and the girls are hoping someone can spot it.
The notice reads: “Last seen in his coconut shell house in the bug garden on the 24th May 2020. Shell golden yellow with brown tortoise shell markings and small purple smudge (for identification).
“Ordinary largish snail size (he’s a garden snail).
“Please if you see him, do not harm and contact Morven and Elise in Bedow Hall at 40/7 in Dalmeny Street. Shiny is sorely missed by loving owners so please report if seen, even if it is only his shell.”
