Police launch appeal after Edinburgh man Jason Campbell goes missing

Jason Campbell was last seen in Muirhouse Grove on Sunday evening

Police are appealing for information after Edinburgh man Jason Campbell is reported missing.

Jason was last seen in Muirhouse Grove around 9.25pm on Saturday evening, and he has not contacted family and friends since.

He is described as being white, around 5 foot 8 inches tall with a slim build and short, brown hair with blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing black trainers with whites soles, dark bottoms, a green jacket with a black stripe down the arms and a black cap.

He is thought to be carrying a dark coloured rucksack and is possibly in possession of a tent.

Inspector Claire Masterton from Drylaw Police station says "Jason has been missing for a number of hours now, this is completely out of character for him and his friends are understandably worried about him.

“We have a number of police resources out looking for Jason and I am now looking for the assistance from the public to help trace him.”

Anybody with any information is urged to call 101 quoting incident number 2774 of June 28, 2020.
