Popular Edinburgh nightclub The Hive reopening as sit-down cocktail bar
The Hive is ready to welcome back party people, but the Niddry Street venue will look slightly different when it reopens next week.
City centre nightclub The Hive has announced it is reopening as a sit-down cocktail bar with food next week.
The venue, known for its wild nights out, said a one-way system will be in place when it reopens for the first time since lockdown on Monday, August 31.
Other safety measures include hand sanitiser and the “regular cleaning of areas”.
Making the announcement on Facebook, The Hive said: “Guess who's back... back again... Hive is Back...tell a friend.”
The nightclub, on Niddry Street, will open from 6pm to 3am and will be seating only, with tables catering to groups of 4, 6 and 8 people.
In line with government guidelines, The Hive will have no music playing.
You can pre-book tables at The Hive from 6pm.
