A Service of Thanksgiving for the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen took pace at St Michael’s Church, Linlithgow last Thursday.

There were 400 guests in attendance at the service, including pupils from all of West Lothian’s schools.

They heard readings from Emma Fairbairn from Broxburn Academy and Aimee Swann from St Margaret’s Academy, and a performance by Linlithgow Academy Senior String Ensemble.

The Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II is being celebrated this year to mark the 70th anniversary of her accession in 1952.
