The Voice final: Craig Eddie backed to win competition by former contestant

The Voice finalist Craig Eddie has received a message of support from the ITV show’s former contestant, and fellow Falkirk district star Barbara Bryceland.

Ms Bryceland says she knew the 23-year-old was destined for glory the first time she heard him perform.

Having made the final 20 of The Voice in 2012, the Falkirk woman is confident Craig can win the competition.

Ms Bryceland, who also appeared on The X Factor, recorded some words of encouragement for the New Carron singer as he gets set to take to the stage in the showpiece event on Saturday night.

She said: “I’ve been on the exact same journey as you’ve been on and I’m absolutely delighted and rooting for you.

“Go Team Craig. Go Team Falkirk!

“The minute I saw your first audition, I said, ‘There’s your winner right there’.

“Congratulations. We’re so, so proud of you. Take it all the way.”
