Tyson Fury: World Champion spotted 'in Tigerlily' on visit to Edinburgh to call out Scottish wrestling star

The two-time heavyweight world champion hit the Capital to find WWE star Drew McIntyre.

World Champion boxer Tyson Fury has been spotted outside Tigerlily in Edinburgh while on a visit to call out Scottish wrestling star Drew McIntyre.

He was snapped in a selfie with fan Dale Chambers apparently outside the George Street bar on Tuesday evening.

Dale put the picture on social media saying: “Tyson Fury is in Tigerlily!”

Fury, a heavyweight boxer with the nickname the Gypsy King, has appeared on WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) appearing on both Smackdown and Raw.

He posted a challenge video, filmed in the Capital, on Twitter.

The video showed him at Edinburgh Castle, with a bagpiper, looking for WWE fighter Drew McIntyre.

He said: “ So I’m here. This is a challenge video to Drew McIntyre.

“The Gypsy King is here in Edinburgh looking all over for you Drew.

“Where are you Drew?

“All day and I can’t see you.

“You’re hiding from me Drew.

“Here I am in your own city and you’re nowhere to be seen.”

Drew McIntyre, current and first time WWE Champion responded on Twitter:

“1. I’m from Ayr

“2. There’s a pandemic. The moment I can come home for my World Title tour we'll talk in person

“3. You’re still a big stiff idiot

“4. Stop using filters you weirdo

“5. Do you want me to start paying rent? It’s unfair I live in your head for free”

In 2019 Fury competed in a WWE match against wrestler Braun Strowman and defeated him.

He earned £11.9 million for his participation.
