The C-17 military plane, designed by Boeing, roared over the Capital a short time ago and is also flying over Newcastle and Birmingham today.
Based in Oxfordshire at RAF Brize Norton, the RAF's largest air base, the C-17 was developed to perform strategic airlifts and transport troops.
A statement on the airbase twitter account said the latest training exercise was not connected with the RAF's "support to the UK's fight against Covid-19."
