Watch as Livingston saxophone player plays 'Lean on Me' tribute for the NHS

As communities across Scotland gathered together yesterday evening to clap for front line workers, one Livingston street was treated to a musical tribute to the NHS.

International professional saxophone player, Trav Saxingh Panesar, took to his street in Livingston to play Lean On Me by Bill Withers (Glee Version) to his neighbours.

Since being posted on Thursday evening, the video has racked up tens of thousands of views and messages of praise have flooded in on the comments section.

In the post, Mr Panesar wrote that the rendition was “a tribute to all key workers and to create some positive uplifting vibes for all my neighbours isolating right now.”

The Clap for our Carers campaign launched earlier this month as the UK went in to lockdown and sees neighbours in communities emerging from their isolation on Thursdays at 8pm for a round of applause to show appreciation to those still working on the front line and risking their health for the greater good.
