Alana Pignatiello, who has been busying herself during lockdown by turning herself into a host of celebrities including Donald Trump, Nicola Sturgeon, Joe Wicks and Captain Tom Moore, uploaded a video to Twitter transforming from herself into the Bathgate chart sensation, miming the lyrics to his hit single Before You Go.

She wrote: "Lewis Capaldi transformation. Upping my game making a wee video."

The tweet has been liked over 2.5k times, and even caught the attention of Lewis himself, who couldn't contain his surprise.

Retweeting the video to his huge army of followers, he wrote: "WHAT THE F***", followed by a string of crying-with-laughter emojis.

After getting recognition from Lewis himself, college lecturer Alana admitted she was lost for words.

“My daughter actually came running in to tell me," she said. "There were no words, just utter shock."
