Weather warning could mean rain pain for Scotland's trains

While many people are off their work tomorrow, travel plans may have already been made as Scotland relaxes its Covid-19 restrictions and we look to enjoy time in cities like Edinburgh and Glasgow.
However, the weather is not looking favourable for any kind of transport, be it by road or rail.

Hide AdCloudy skies and heavy rain are forecast throughout much of central Scotland and this is coupled with high winds – with gusts of over 30 mph blowing throughout the area later in the day.
A Network Rail Scotland spokesperson said: “We've just held an extreme weather teleconference to discuss our plans following a forecast of heavy rain across much of Scotland tomorrow afternoon and into the evening.
"We're making sure everything's in place to keep Scotland's Railway moving safely.”
