Fans of The Cure were out in their numbers to see the goth gods at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Showgrounds on Sunday night. They were treated to a hit-packed setlist, including Lovesong, Boys Don’t Cry and Friday I’m in Love.

It marked the band’s first Edinburgh performance in 34 years and, supported by three bands who were undoubtedly influenced by The Cure in Mogwai, Slowdive and Just Mustard, Robert Smith and co brought the house down.
