Police and coastguard helicopter launch search after reports of 'concern for person' in East Lothian
Police and a coastguard helicopter are involved in a search this evening following reports for “concern for a person” on the East Lothian coast.
A police spokeswoman said that emergency services have been called to Canty Bay, near North Berwick, and that the incident is “ongoing.”
The spokeswoman was unable to provide any more details on the nature of the incident.
The UK Coastguard were also contacted but were not able to provide any more information at this stage.
