The video appears to show a boy being carried away from the fire by another person at the scene. The person being carried away looked as if they may have been injured.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said two appliances - one each from Sighthill and Tollcross - were sent to the scene and that the fire was extinguished just before 7:40pm.

A police spokesperson said: "Police enquiries are continuing into a fire in Saughton Park, Edinburgh on the evening of Monday 1 June, where a shelter and sporting equipment were set alight. The fire is being treated as wilful.
