Police launch Leith surgery

POLICE have launched a surgery to engage with members of the Leith community.

The safer neighbourhood team will be available at the Foot of the Walk pub on Duke Street from 11am to 1pm on Wednesdays.

Pc Mark Muir said: “These surgeries are an extension of our community commitment pledge.

“The Foot of the Walk provides us with an informal setting and members of our communities, particularly elderly, may feel comfortable attending to discuss issues affecting them.”
