Police search for missing Edinburgh man Lee Gibb

POLICE are searching for a man who hasn't been seen since leaving his home on Wednesday afternoon.

Lee Gibb, from Craigmillar, hasn’t made contact with friends or family since 3pm, and there have been no sightings of the 42-year-old.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 6ins, slim build with short light brown hair and gaunt look. He is believed to be wearing a dark navy jacket, navy trousers and black boots.

Inspector Norman Towler, from Howdenhall Police Station, said: “Lee has now been missing since late yesterday afternoon without being seen or heard from and our inquiries to date have not yet established his whereabouts.

“I’m asking anyone with information to Lee’s whereabouts or that can assist in locating him to contact police immediately.

“We would also urge Lee to make contact with ourselves, or with his family and friends, and confirm he is safe.”
