Police tackle vandalism and antisocial behaviour
Police officers and the city council’s environmental wardens carried out joint patrols and issued warnings to youths about their conduct.
Diversionary activities for young people were also organised in recent months as part of the strategy to cut down on crime.

Hide AdPolice said that vandalism incidents had fallen by nearly a third across the Forth ward since the start of the operation.
In addition, officers have conducted alcohol stop and searches in Pilton in a bid to curb under-age drinking and related antisocial behaviour.
Meanwhile, police officers visited the families of offenders to give warnings about the behaviour of youngsters and officers visited local businesses to give them advice about reducing the problem.
During the same period, the Lothian and Borders force said that youth-related calls had fallen by 29 per cent across the Forth area.
