Barack Obama headed straight for the Home of Golf after touching down in Scotland on his first visit to the country.
The former US president teed off on the world-famous Old Course in St Andrews ahead of his appearance at tonight’s charity gala in Edinburgh.
A relaxed looking Mr Obama posed for photos with fans and greeted onlookers who had lined the famous course to greet him.
Tom Hunter was also on the course with the former president.
