The Prime Minister has spent a week in hospital receiving treatment for coronavirus at St Thomas' Hospital in London since Sunday (5th April) – 10 days after testing positive for the virus.

He was moved to the intensive care unit on Tuesday after his symptoms worsened.

He was receiving "standard oxygen treatment" in intensive care but had not been on a ventilator.
