The Channel 4 debate will take place in Glasgow and will be screened across the UK, hosted by Krishnan Guru-Murthy. It follows previous debates staged by the BBC and STV which have featured the Holyrood party leaders.

Here is everything you need to know:

When is it on?

The debate kicks off at 7pm on Tuesday, April 27, and is due to run for 45 minutes

SNP First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will go head-to-head with Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar, Douglas Ross of the Tories, Willie Rennie for the Lib Dems, and Greens co-leader Patrick Harvie

What is the format?

There will be no audience present due to the ongoing coronavirus restrictions. There will be set topics, with challenges between leaders allowed. There will be no opening statements or questions from the public but Guru-Murthy previously tweeted to ask social media users what they would like to see covered.
