Donald Trump urged to meet Edinburgh Muslims
More than 7500 people have signed a petition calling for Donald Trump to meet representatives from Edinburgh's muslim community.
38 Degrees members are hiring a plane to carry a banner to deliver a message to Trump during his visit to Scotland later this month.
Rachel Diamond-Hunter, campaign manager at 38 Degrees, said: “Donald Trump’s views have shown him to be way out of line with the values that 38 Degrees members – and most people across the UK – hold.
“We’re part of a movement building peace and respect in our country. We’ll do all that we can to make sure he hears that message during his visit to Scotland.”
