Protesters target Israeli ambassador’s talk
Protesters disrupted a talk by an Israeli ambassador at Edinburgh University.
Daniel Taub’s visit on Wednesday saw around 100 campaigners from the Edinburgh Students for Justice in Palestine group stage a protest. They claim Mr Taub supports the use of illegal white phosphorous in the Gaza Strip.
Pete Ramand of Edinburgh University Students Association said: “It is an unacceptable situation when someone with such abhorrent and dangerous views can be brought on to campus.”
