Racist abuse ‘victim’ guilty
Rejvi Chowdhury had been in dispute with his neighbour for months before the incident, a court heard.
Stuart Houston, prosecuting, said the argument in September 2011 began when Chowdhury shouted at the neighbour, sparking an argument. He then swore at his neighbour and threatened him with violence.

Hide AdChowdhury, 28, pleaded guilty to committing a breach of the peace at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday.
Sentence was deferred for four months for good behaviour.
Sheriff Douglas Kinloch told Chowdhury: “You shouldn’t have reacted or behaved in the way you did. I want to make sure there’s no repetition.”
