Rangers star Jermain Defoe involved in Glasgow road crash after team's win against Aberdeen
Rangers striker Jermain Defoe has been involved in a crash in Glasgow this afternoon.
Police were called to the scene near the Clyde Tunnel just after 6pm.
It comes not long after Rangers beat Aberdeen 5-0 at Ibrox this afternoon.
The former Rangers star escaped unhurt from the collision.
Rangers also tweeted a post this evening to confirm that Defoe was involved in the collision, adding: "We are happy and relieved to say that no one was seriously injured."
Pictures and video posted on social media show some bad damage to the front of the cars involved.
