RBS branch in central Edinburgh sold for £1.3million
A BRANCH of RBS in a prime Capital location has sold for £1.3million.
Ken McEwan, of McEwan Fraser Legal, bought the Blenheim Place branch at a public auction on Wednesday, which had a starting price of £700,000.
The Grade A Georgian building is close to the Edinburgh Playhouse.

Hide AdIn a statement to a Sunday newspaper, McEwan Fraser said they made the purchase after RBS “commenced the aggressive disposal of many of their prominent bank branches throughout Scotland via public auction.” Mr McEwan added: “We have agreed to keep the bank’s ATM machine for at least another five years.”
