Restalrig Road closures: Busy Edinburgh road hit by 4 months of works - everything you need to know
The work will be completed in nine stages over four months.
A busy main road in Edinburgh is set for closures and disruption amid four months of roadworks which begin on Monday.
The planned road resurfacing and pavement works on Restalrig Road, which runs from Leith Links to Lochend Avenue, will be completed in nine stages and are expected to take until the end of July.

Restalrig Road South and Blackie Road will also be affected by roadworks.
Edinburgh City Council has issued 24/7 closures for the resurfacing while parking suspensions, side road closures and temporary traffic lights will be introduced to allow for the pavement works and drainage.
Contractors will work between 7am to 7pm from Monday to Friday, but will stop for the Easter break from April 2 to April 12.
The first phase of works, estimated to last three weeks, starts at the top of the road between East Hermitage Place and Cornhill Terrace.
Work will then progress down the road in three week blocks, finishing at Restalrig Square.
A traffic diversion will be in place via Lochend Road.
The final phase will see Blackie Road closed between Summerfield Gardens to Claremont Road.
The road will remain open to pedestrians, and emergency services vehicles have access at all times.
In a statement, Edinburgh City Council said: “We understand that this work will be disruptive and want to thank you for your patience and understanding.
“We will make every effort to accommodate residents and businesses, where possible.”
