Results hit the mark for A-level stars

among the pupils finding out their A-level results in the Capital yesterday were Freddie Thomson, Douglas Morgan, Jack Connor, Katie Becher and Clare Davidson of Edinburgh Academy.

Also receiving A-level results were students at St George’s School for Girls, which had a 100 per cent pass rate, with 97 per cent of pupils achieving grades A to C and 70 per cent achieving grades A* to A. Pupils at St George’s are given the opportunity to take both Advanced Highers and A-levels.
