Roman finds in museum

A LEGION of Roman artefacts unearthed from sites across Musselburgh has gone on display at the town’s museum.

The never-before-seen exhibition boasts a range of recent discoveries from the town – which was once the site of the Roman Fort at Inveresk – on loan from the National Museum of Scotland

The museum’s Dr Fraser Hunter said: “It’s really exciting for these remains to be put on display close to where they were originally used.”
