Rotary tunes into youth

DALKEITH Rotary Club is teaming up with local secondary schools to launch its Young Musician of the Year contest.

Convener Bobby Dodds said another bumper entry was expected.

The initial heat will take place at Dalkeith Schools Campus on February 9.

The Rotarians are also celebrating raising £13,500 for causes ranging from a memory project at Midlothian community hospital to battling water famine in the Third World.
