Running group lands new sponsor

A RUNNING group has signed a sponsorship deal with a healthcare charity.

Jogscotland, a recreational running network, will be backed by Nuffield Health for three years.

The deal will include support for jogscotland’s series of 5k challenge races. This year’s race in the Capital will take place in Inverleith Park and the Royal Botanic Garden on June 27.

Alistair Currie, jogscotland manager, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to form what we believe will be a very fruitful partnership with Nuffield Health.

“The two organisations have very similar ideals and we plan to work together over the three years of the sponsorship to try and achieve those goals.

“With the help of Nuffield Health we can grow interest across Scotland – and improve health statistics into the bargain.”
