Sally Army eyes change

THE world leader of the Salvation Army is to visit Edinburgh to take part in the organisation’s annual Roots conference.

General Linda Bond will attend the event at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena on April 14 and 15.

It is the first time it has been held in Scotland and will focus on the theme “Changing Minds” and the challenge of social justice. Also appearing is Joel Edwards, international director of Christian anti-poverty movement Micah Challenge.
