Salon group extends lease

A HAIRDRESSING supplies firm is to be given a 15-year extension to its lease by the city council.

Salon Services Limited has been operating from council space within the Bonnington Business Centre in Jane Street since June 2000.

Councillors were today expected to approve plans to give it a 15-year extension to its lease, with the annual rent rising from £30,000 to £31,050.

Rent reviews will take place at the end of every five-year period, with the tenant also responsible for any of the council’s “reasonably incurred” legal and surveyor’s costs, together with any stamp duty land tax.
