Sanctify your snakebite
A LAUNCH party is set to take place for the world’s first commercial blend of lager and cider.
The drink – known as snakebite – is commonly seen as the preferred tipple of binge-drinking students and drunken down-and-outs.
But East Lothian cider maker Thistly Cross and craft ale producer Tempest are hoping to give the brew an upmarket makeover.
The party will take place on Thursday at Brauhaus in Lauriston Place.
