Second trial over Rox raid

A SECOND man has been ordered to stand trial accused of taking part in a £1 million robbery from a George Street jewellery shop.

Aldaire Warmington, 26, was remanded in custody on charges of assault and robbery at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

He previously appeared in court last week in connection with the robbery at Rox.

No plea or declaration was made at that time.

It was reported £1m worth of items was taken during the alleged raid on January 15.

Mr Warmington, from Manchester, was again remanded in custody pending trial by Sheriff Gordon Liddle when he made a second appearance yesterday.

Elliot Jorgensen, 25, from Salford, was last week remanded in custody on similar charges pending trial in 
connection with the Rox raid.
