Show support for TV appeal

A CHILDREN’S charity is urging Edinburgh residents to fire up their sense of community spirit and think about those less fortunate this festive period.

Action for Children Scotland needs donations to buy a flat-screen TV for the shared living room at its Gilmerton Road support service.

Disabled children who use the facility for short breaks often get anxious spending time in large groups. Staff think that sitting together to watch a film will help develop their social skills and help them in group situations. Visit my.actionforchildren.org.uk
